The production designer for Love Struck was Katie MacGregor who has extensive experience in feature films, commercials and music videos. The brief from the director Leyla was to have a “timeless” look to the film. This was easily achieved in the valley of Ebbw Vale where we took advantage of its natural environment. The green rolling hills play a perfect compliment to the colour red. The dressing for the dance scene kept to the complimentary red/orange – green colour pallet, generally trying to avoid using bright tones.
